Top 7 JRPG Trailers and Announcements from Sonys Pre TGS 2015 Conference Tokyo Game Show 2015 has come and gone and has left us many souvenirs in the form of all the wonderful game announcements that have me counting down to 2016 already. While many announcements were made throughout all four days of the show (Persona 5 anyone?), some of the best announcements from TGS were made during Sonys Pre-Show Conference. There were many noteworthy announcement during the conference, including some cool JRPGs, so I made a top 7 list of my favourites from the conference. This is a ranked list, although it was extremely difficult to choose the right ranking (particularly between the last two games) and I definitely want to pick up all of these games at launch. Tales of Graces F PS3 JRPG 101 I dont really understand the stigma that JRPGs seem to have attained over the years for being bad games. I grew up with JRPGs. Some of the best games in the NES, SNES, and Playstation era were JRPGs. Games like Final Fantasy 6, Dragon Warrior, Lufia I and II, Legend of Legaia, Parasite Eve, Star Ocean, Persona  just to name a few of them. Many of these are still being heralded as the pinnacles of video game history. So it baffles me when someone rolls their eyes at a game when they find out its a JRPG. On the Gamecube I discovered a game called Tales of Symphonia  and it basically became the only reason I owned the system and made me a fan of the franchise from this point forwards. After several releases over multiple systems, PS3 now gets a re-release of a overseas Wii game with additional content.
